> 3D-SOUND
Mit dem Spatial Pan System des Fraunhofer IDMT (Institut für Digitale Medientechnologie) und den High End Audio Lösungen der Bose Corporation wurde für das P1 ein 3D-Soundkonzept entwickelt, das in der Disco-Szene in München und in Europa wohl einmalig ist. Der Club wurde in fünf Soundzonen eingeteilt. Soundobjekte können daher gezielt im Raum positioniert und verbreitet werden – vom kleinen, gezielten Klangeffekt bis hin zum komplexen Rundumsound. DJs haben also ein immenses Gestaltungsspektrum, um interaktiv ein völlig neues Musikerlebnis zu bieten. Die Audio Anlage wird von Verstärkern angetrieben, die zusammen über 25.000 Watt Leistung erzielen. Dadurch verteilt sich der Schall gleichmäßig in allen Bereichen des Clubs. Die erzeugte Klangatmosphäre ist einzigartig. Um ein ganzheitliches Unterhaltungserlebnis zu erzeugen, wurde das neue Soundsystem mit dem Licht- und Video-System gekoppelt.

> 3D SOUND
Using the Spatial Pan system by the Fraunhofer IDMT (Institute of Digital Media Technology) and high-end audio solutions by Bose, a new 3D sound concept has been created for P1 which is unique in the disco scene in Munich and probably the whole of Europe. The club was divided into five sound zones. Sound objects can therefore be positioned and distributed anywhere in the room – from small, focused sound effects to complex all-round sound. DJs have a huge range of possibilities in creating a whole new interactive musical experience. The audio system is driven by amplifiers which together achieve over 25,000 watts of power. That way the sound is spread evenly into all areas of the club. The resulting sound ambience is unique. In order to create a holistic entertainment experience, the new sound system was connected with the lighting and video system.

> LICHT- UND VIDEO-INSTALLATIONEN
Im neuen P1 wurde komplett auf konventionelles Licht verzichtet. Stattdessen verfügt es über insgesamt knapp 11.000 energieeffiziente LEDs, 14 Plasmadisplays und mehrere Projektoren, deren Bilder pixelgenau auf die Architektur angepasst wurden. Ein Großteil der Technik ist flächenbündig in der Decke eingelassen. Sieben Medienrechner ermöglichen es, jeden Beleuchtungskörper einzeln und mit Videosignalen anzusteuern. Die Bedienung kann live über unterschiedliche, mobile Touchpads erfolgen. Passend zum Sound kann ein VJ jeden einzelnen Lichtauslass im Club – egal ob Display, Projektor, Wand-, Bar- oder Stufenbeleuchtung – mit einem in Echtzeit generierten Video beleuchten und bespielen. Durch die neue Anlage wird der Trend des VJings in die Superlative geführt.

> LIGHT AND VIDEO INSTALLATIONS
The new P1 has completely abandoned conventional light. Instead, it has almost 11,000 energy-efficient LEDs, 11 plasma screens and multiple projectors, their images having been adapted to the architecture pixel by pixel. Much of the technology is embedded plane on to the ceiling. Seven media computers make it possible to control each light individually and via video signals. The controls can be operated live and manually using a series of mobile touchpads. Corresponding to the sound a VJ may illuminate every single light outlet in the club – optionally display, projector, wall, bar or stage lighting – with a video generated in real-time. With this new system the existing trend of VJing is taken to new heights.
