Since 1984, P1 has been a fixture of Germany's nightlife!

Clubs are living things, just like you and me. They are loved, scorned, praised, used and left. They go through crises, high points and changes of partner. They have a history and a biography of their own. And they adapt, because anyone with a finger on the pulse of the times keeps reinventing themselves without forgetting where they came from, and builds the future on solid walls of credibility and history!

In its day, P1 revolutionized Germany's club scene. Its principle of scarcity created a hype that was felt far beyond Germany's borders. Hollywood came, and international athletes and the who's who of the music industry came through the door one after another. "In ist, wer drin ist", you're only in if you're inside: that held true for everyone, for many years.

The new "in"

That still holds today, except that being "in" no longer depends on getting past the doorman. It depends on acceptance and other things that matter. So our current slogan is "Dress well, be nice", and it asks you to feel good. To be yourself. To enjoy yourself. To live diversity. P1 stands for the acceptance of all people, regardless of their social or ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, religion, worldview or any other characteristic.

This is about more than the differences between people and the lives they lead. It is always about discovering what we have in common, too!

Light & Sound

You can't tell a good club by its furniture. You can tell it by its lighting and its sound. Light creates the mood and the atmosphere. It decides whether you feel comfortable, at home and ready to be led.

Sound gets under your skin, quietly and without forcing itself on you. It decides whether you feel drawn in, whether memories come back, whether people dance and let go, and whether the world around you disappears!

In 2018 the club got a completely new light and sound system that leaves nothing to be desired. A stage for the artists of our time: Steve Aoki, Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber, ASAP Rocky, Dorian Kraft, reezy, Milk & Sugar, RIN, Lars Aidinger, G-Eazy and many more…

Centralized & Cosmopolitan

Four decades in the same place, in the middle of Munich, and still known around the world. P1 keeps its roots, grows with its challenges and keeps adapting to social change. It creates a place that stirs desire and yet, seemingly, is open to everyone.

The work at the core is quiet, focused and consistent, so that on the outside it can always shine loud, big and bright! Because "Being in is a passing phenomenon, being the best is an art!" We know that, and we work on it every day!
